Looked at this oven today
Customer reported cakes burning on the right side of the oven.
The seal is still very flexible no signs of cracking and the door springs are still strong, the fan turns freely and the element looks in good order. I can’t think of anything else, has anyone come across this one before ?John

Dude when i worked for hotpoint we had this a few times, something to do with how the air circulates in the oven and what tin they were using, its a bit tricky to put into words but bottom line was no fault with oven just turn cakes half way round through cooking !!! 😛
the principle is simple for a fan oven – an element and a fan to blow it round the oven cavity, simple 😀
