Electrolux EOB3400AOX oven not heating

Hi there

Electrolux oven is not heating up. I purchased a replacement element which has not solved the issue. I get around 6.75 volts and 0 ohms when i test the connections going to the element.
Fan works, grill works, clock and lights appear to work ok. What else should i look for??

there are 11 ovens with the same model number so I have had to pick one at random

on the one I looked at there is a selector switch behind the right hand knob check for burnt out contacts

cant seem to access the tech site at the moment so will see if I can remember later to have a look

its still likely there is a selector sw

the one I looked at had a selector switch and a separate thermostat so either could be faulty

look at terminal 6 of the selector switch. this feeds the live to the oven circuit

I’m going to have a go tonight after work, what should i look for and test? I have a multimeter, thanks

first I would look at the contact on the switch. look for signs of burning and mechanical damage on that 1 contact

you could also look at the thermostat, take 1 wire off and check for continuity when you turn the temp up

all this with power switched off please
