The ventilator in the freezer blew (clearly burnt out) and I have replaced it but it still does not work. Why would this be – is there something else that would have blown with the motor? The cooling elements are still working. There are two small sealed plastic boxes next to the cooling element – one is grey, the other black, each has two wires going in and the part is labelled 10(3)/250 -20T80K K-11 Type 261N40C. I assume these are thermostats. I have tested both for continuity and the black one shows continuity, the grey one does not – could this be the problem?

Appreciate any advice from someone who clearly understands it better than I. Many thanks, Skymong

If it got a pcb poss that part of it may have gone down with it.

At room temp one will be open circuit but they would be both closeed circuit and frozen temp.

Would recomend using repairs@ section to find a refrigeration engineer.
