I have got another case of fridge warm, freezer cold. I have read lots of other posts about the air ducts between the freezer and the fridge getting iced up. However, on this model there don’t seem to be any air ducts – both the fridge and the freezer compartments are completely sealed with no vents or anything.
So I’m struggling to work out what cools the fridge, I can only think the pipes from the compressor take a couple of turns through the back of the fridge before going to the main evaporator in the freezer part. If so I don’t understand how the fridge can be warm when the freezer seems to be working fine – loss of refrigerant? I have tried 24 hours de-icing but no change.

Does anyone know this particular model and what could cause this problem?

Seems lack of gas/leak: this model should be a frost free but only in freezer compartment, the fridge section i think is static evaporator (so is inside the insulation foam on the back of the product, not visible).

Either the thermostat or the 2 way valve.

Absolutely true, i would only exclude 2 way valve which should not present on this model.

I don’t think it can be the thermostat as the compressor is running continuously.
I have got the circuit diagram for it and as nor by says there are no valves in the coolant, so must be loss of gas.
It’s almost exactly 10 years old so it’s done OK, but I think replacement is probably the way to go.
