hi to all…. i ve got this problem with this machine .
the machine sounds fine til a certain ammount of water enters{just higher than the sump[…. then it starts to groan as if the motor isnt goin , yet ive seen that the impellor is turning fine.
also the top arm isnt spinning and the element seems to be getting far too hot.
just the 3 problems actually! does it sound like a water level issue or is it time to chuck/?

Underfilling issues are common on these machines – article HERE. Yours is the IWMS machine.

    thanx for that penguin 45
i stripped down the left hand side and all looked pretty clean.the water level was about the same as the sump level.
i decided to check the impellor and noticed 2 blades broken both beside each other.just wondered….. would this stop both arms from turning as now seems to be happening?this might also account for the whirring sound.ive seen the impellor kit in thespares section… would fitting this sort it? also ive noticed theres no pump listed for this machine.
    any further suggestions/

Damaged impellor would explain a few things – you need THIS LITTLE LOT. Be careful – the drive shaft is only available as a complete motor assembly.
