Electrolux ESI 604 – not filling

Please can you help? I’ve got a 7ish year old Electrolux ESI 604 dishwasher that has decided not to fill with water. There is still power, because it makes normal noises to begin with, but at the stage when you’d expect to hear whooshing water (I think when the detergent dispenser opens), there isn’t any, then it all just stops.

We have removed the bottom basket/rotor/filter and checked the pipes, and given it a bit of a clean all over. There doesn’t seem to be any blockage. Any ideas?

Thanks. I’ve removed and cleaned the blue tubes and spout. The machine still doesn’t fill. Is it worth trying the transfer hose? This could be a pain, as obviously it’s an integrated machine, but if there’s a chance it would do the trick, I’ll try it.

There’s little else you can do from the inside so it will have to come out anyway.

Well, checked the transfer hose (and some other hose) – it wasn’t blocked at all. Don’t know what happened, but it seems to be working now. Maybe it was the shock of being moved/switched off. Anyway, thanks for all the tips and advice.
