    Hi,
I’ve got an Electrolux ESL4115 built-in dishwasher. Recently, it has started behaving strangely. When started, it drains, draws in water (and I can hear the water trickling inside), sits around for a while, then starts producing single intermittent beeps. If the programme is resumed at this point, it usually, though not always, resumes and works properly, at least on the rinse cycle.

When drawing in the water, the water pump in the apartment starts for a few seconds, cuts out, waits a bit, does the same again, and then finally runs for a longer period.

The hot water only wash seems to work fairly consistently without this behaviour.

The dishwasher is built-in and not very accessible, so it’s hard to check everything’s connected up okay; the inlet pipe seems to be connected properly and not kinked, though.

The first time it did this was immediately after the water _outlet_ pipe, which had a leak, was repaired, but after one time then it didn’t start doing it again for a couple of months, so I’m not sure if it was just a coincidence.

    Thanks for any help.

Water supply should have sufficient pressure to fill it quite quickly if its only trickling in as you describe perhaps its nt filling in time & shutting down the programme in error or its also likely theres water leaked into the base of it & activated the float switch or the anti-flood device.
