This one has puzzled me a bit, every 10 months or so customer complains of no water going in to m/c. The valve hums like the water has been tuned off. But it ain’t, so remove valve ,blow down pressure pipes & suck any water out off the overflow valve that piggybacks the inlet valve ,reassy & away it goes for a few more months,
It must be an overflow problem but most pipes go to the fill reservior on the lefthand side of the m/c, but that seems clean & the pipes going to the sump are all clean! Anybody else had this prob! It does seem strange that it runs ok for months. Cheers Chris…
