Here is what I know so far.
1. Dishwasher tripped RCD tried to reset RCD and kept tripping.
2. Cancelled cycle and tried again. 3 beeps for flood warning.
3. Drained base so float switch was not activated and tried a cycle. Drain pump came on for about 1 minute then stopped for a few seconds then went on for another minute and stopped with 2 beeps (siphon drain warning)
4. Checked siphon and drain and all clear. Filled the the bottom of the washer with water and tried again. It drained whatever water it had in it and then drain pump kept going until the 2 beeps again.
5. Checked the inlet pump and it was 3.6k across the coils and never gets a voltage.
6. Put a meter either side of the float switch and is was OK.
Really stuck with this one.. How does a dishwasher know when to switch from drain to inlet pump?
Any suggestions very welcome including rechecking anything I have checked before.
There has been an issue with the hose from sump to pressure switch on them sagging & having a pocket of gunge forming in it, so it doesn’t register full or empty.
PS it doesn’t have an inlet pump, its a solenoid valve that fills & a circulation pump that washes when filled
Thanks for the reply. I had a look at the pressure switch hose and it seems to be clear(blew into it). I also blew into the pressure switch and I can hear it clicking so I think that means the pressure switch is OK??
Any other things to look for?
