    Hi all,

First post here so hope someone can help. Recently had our dishwasher trip the mains…so instantly assumed this to be a fault with the heating element. SO I order a new element and replaced…hey bingo! Lovely steam, up and running again…

Except….now runs constantly….pop it on quick wash and it’ll run forever….

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers

    Rob

Electro-mechanical timer controlled machine. There is a 60c normally open thermostat to be checked for cycling – it should complete a circuit to the timer when it closes, allowing it to run on. Possible that the timer heater contacts have welded closed. Also check for broken wiring at the pivot point in the door – door outer off to check.

Stay safe, power off if working on the machine.
