Electrolux EU2246C freezer door seal

Hi

As per the subject really!

I’ve got hold of a second hand Electrolux freezer, model number EU2246C. It needs a new door seal and I’ve looked in the usual places without finding anything.

It’s a pretty standard freezer, so perhaps the seal from another model might fit?

I’d be really grateful for any help.

Hi James,

No they’re not all the same, far from it. That’s sorta like saying to a Ford parts guy that it’s a bumper on a Ford, they all look alike to it should fit. 😉

There are no less than seven variants of that machine, I need the production code/product number (will start “928”) to check it out for you.

Is there no way of getting a suitable seal on its own then?

Seems a shame, it’s getting very frosty now 🙁
