    Hi. My Electrolux EW1000 1 will wash, and drain, but when it comes to a fast spin, it does not accelerate from slow turning to fast spin. It has only had fairly light usage over last 5 years, the drum appears to be ok, no play to speak of. There are no blockages in the drain system, and the filter is cleaned on a regular basis. Help!!

    Check load size. If that’s ok it’s almost certainly a timer fault
