Dunno, are you sure you are not confusing fast spin with the ‘active agitation’ that some cycles are programmed to do anyway? If it did go into fast spin as you describe no doubt the water would pee out of every orifice and deposit on the floor as a result. So does your customer have to wade in there with a mop and bucket whenever she selects that K cycle?
Joking aside, I think we may be looking at a dodgy tacho here all the while TBH..works OK one minute, then when your back’s turned off it goes!

Hi Martin, weird no water is taken in at all on this programe, just starts a spin cycle and conts till end !!
put it on all other wash programes and water is taken in on all!!
and work fine.

Next thought then…..dial indicator problem? Though I would need to look up a EW12001 to see how the prog dial is on these. Right now on my iPad I don’t have access to the manual so it’s just a passing thought at this stage….
I would need to be in my office for that….. 😀July 1, 2012 at 5:25 pm #377463rocker

I think its doubtful that the timer knob would be at fault if the other programs are lining up and working correctly, I think more likely to be timer and this one comes complete with module mounted on top at about £47 + Vat from Qualtex and EMW do refurbished
