electrolux ew1200i

have got washer/dryer that now fails to spin on all cycles,have read other posts about same problem,would i be corrrect in the pcb needs replacing….???

Doubt it? First thing to do is to check the motor itself…..?

Hi Martin
Many thanks for your reply,sorry i’ve reread my post,it will complete the wash cycle with no problems,its the spin cycle post wash that fails to work,at first it would not complete the fast spin after the wash cycle but i could get it to work on the slower spin cycle,now that fails to work aswell…???

hi if the spin appears to speed up then slow down many times before switching off you probably do need a new timer

Hi JIm
Yes filter is clear,at first the fast spin started to become intermittent,would have to reselect it after the was programme was complete to get it spin dry the clothes,then that would not work at all,but would work on the slower spin,but that is now doing the same,i.e intermittent…..
