Electrolux ew1200i not spinning but plenty filling/emptying

Hi

I’ve got an Electrolux ew1200i that is not spinning and speeding through cycles filling and emptying and doing little washing and few turns of the drum.

I’ve checked the belt underneath … it rotates the drum and it ain’t broke unless there is a separate belt for the dryer 😉
The drain pipe has been checked and anyway it drains alright 🙂
The drain filter is clear

So no spinning at all and only a few drum turns with plenty of filling and emptying.

Could it be to do with the out of balance mechanism or methinks the PCB is :tdown:

On Thursday I did feel :bang: but now I feel like :taz:

Any suggestions? (skip it not included 😆 )

There have been quite a few EW1200i machines over the years. The fault you describe is indicative of an electronic board failure – the timers’ advance is controlled by it on the early machines.

Post up the pNc number (label by the door seal) and we might be able to narrow it down a bit.
