    Hi All,

    I have an Electrolux EWD 1409 washer dryer that is playing up.

    When i switch it on all the lights come on, and the program selector switch works fine. When different programs are selected the LED countdown timer updates correctly. No error codes are shown etc….

    The green start button light blinks as it should, but when the button is pressed nothing happens!

    Any help will be MUCH appreciated.

    possible door lock machine wont do anything with door unlocked


    this machine has a diagnostic mode you need to get a local engineer to access it and see if there are any clues
    i take it no other light flash on the front of the machine

    Hi Dave,

    No, no other lights. Its as if everything works execpt the start/pause button.

    A local engineer it is i think…
