Electrolux EWD1214I Timer replacement

Hi

I am fairly new to the trade and I have tried to replace a timer on an electrolux EWD1214I washer dryer.I can get the facia off but how do I get the knob and the cam off in order to fit the new timer?

I know there is probably an easy fix but doing this at 8:30 p.m tonight I just could not see it.

top of the knob comes off there is a nut inside
