Could anyone please advise how I can get the above into diagnostics ? The machine keeps cutting out part way through a cycle.

Before doing anything on Lux/Zan Washer dryers disconnect dryer heater and test machine. Causes all manner of problems when they go down to earth. Normal procedure for getting in to test mode. Switch off appliance at selector. Press and hold Start/pause button and nearest option button. Holding down both buttons turn selector one position to right (clockwise). Continue to hold buttons until LEDs start to flash. Turning clockwise further will check individual components at each step. Position 10 will read off fault code. If ED4 comes up, this is often the dryer heaters going down to earth, although ED4 doesn’t relate to that fault.
Quite a lot on here regarding this fault.

Same as all other Lux washer dryers (Start and first option button, 10th dial position etc) EWM2000 electronics shown in known error codes thread.

Megger everything, check NTC connections and so on………

Email me Allan and I can send you the service manual. 💡 (do remind me of what you want though as I get loads of requests, some good, some bad! :clown: )

Thanks, it did cross my mind that it could be an earth leak on the dryer element.
I couldn’t get the thing into diagnostics though, I’m used to the freestanding machines and I was trying with the on/off switch pressed in.
