Electrolux EWX14450W

Machine stopped in programme with water in.
On arriving at the job you can set a programme, (I tried spin) The door locks, and displays work, the machine does nothing but the time left to finish programme counts down.

Enter diagnostics and last known fault is E41, door lock, wiring or pcb. I cleared the memory and tried another spin programme, with the same problem, only displays working. Went into last known fault again, no fault reported. Tried various other programs, still nothing and no last known fault.

:boops: I can see I made a crucial error myself, by only looking at the last known error before clearing the memory, I should have looked at all three in memory, if there were three.

The E41 may have been caused by the customer trying to start the machine with door open?

So why is the machine just showing the displays correctly, but doing nothing, and not showing any fault code.
I have not at this stage meggered the heater or motor, machine is built in and looks like a bu..er to get out.

had same fault it turned out to be door lock fault causing module to blow

Look at pump first, impellor jammed perhaps, its acessed from front..

Just an update on this job.
A new doorlock fitted and machine working ok.
