Electrolux EWX14450W Tripped rcd now no power to dryer

Hi all, visited one of these units today. Customer says tripped out on the drying cycle then they tried a wash and that tripped out after about 5 mins. Checked motor ok, checked was element ok, checked dryer element ok – not seen it trip out yet but dryer is now not working, have no power to the element, have metered all stats/cut outs/ntc etc all seem ok, suspecting the dryer pcb maybe. When driving back remembered these have an ntc in the condenser which I did not check.

Any suggestions ?

I doubt it a fault with the dryer timer or the condenser NTC. I would point the finger at the dryer element in spite of it showing good on your Megger. (Assuming you meggered it?) They are a constant problem.

Yes I know these elements are dodgy, but there is no power to the dryer element – its the new style with crimped connectors not spade ends.
