the electrolux range of cookers, like the EOB range have a larger fan
than usual, all the copies i tried have been no good. the fan catches the inside of the element, or the spacing /retaining clips on the element stick out proud and do not sit in the back cavity recess of the oven, therefore will not allow the back cover to go back flush. is threr any part no’s / manafacturer’s you can recommend.
TELL..
p.s. have tried the masterparts one, ele 14106 and it has all the faults above.
Re: electrolux fan elements, where can you get a good copy?.
ELE4532 from Connect. Fitted loads with no problems.
Early on, I found that the elements would ‘swing’ or pivot at the mounting plate causing them to foul the fan. To prevent this, I always secure the element’s bottom tag by drilling a small hole in the back panel of the oven to locate it.
