Electrolux fridge freezer EN3481WAO. Product number 92503455100.
was away for a few days when I came back all the stuff for the freezer was Completely thawed a few days later the fridge got more and more warm and eventually it’s not working anymore.
The light is working when you open the door and I could hear some fans the compressor is quite warm and it is vibrating but I think this is the problem.
this fridge freezer is from 2012 so quite old but as we all know they were made better in them days and I want to make a last ditch effort before it goes to landfill.
I have purchased a Subco Three-In-One start RCO420.
I have study some YouTube videos and I think I understand the wiring but a lot of them are using a different start number RCO410.
Can anyone help me to tell me is the one I have already purchased suitable for the job I’m sure it can be due to wattage of voltage or some other such thing.My finances presently do not allow me to buy a new fridge freezer sorry to say ,all help would be greatly received to try and get this one going.
No idea other than if the compressor is running and there is no freezing or any sign of it cooling the refrigerant has escaped = a leak somewhere in the pipe system OR, as you sermise the compressor is running on its start windings only in which case the overload should click off within 10 secs or so. Sorry but thought it a good to contact you since no body else has. I have limited fridge experience especially on frost free stuff as I`m into washing machines..there lies another tale of woe!.
