I have a 6 year old Electrolux Frost Free fridge freezer (ER7926/1 B) – freezer at bottom fridge on top – which has been leaking for a few weeks now and ice has been forming in the bottom part of the freezer We had an engineer out and he removed the grey rubber tube (about 2.5 cm long) from the metal pipe (where the defrosted water would run into the plastic container ) and took out some fluff. He then stuck some wire up the metal pipe and said that’s clear and that it should be alright now.
Oh no it isn’t! Still leaking. Any suggestions??

Hello So another engineer came yesterday took the back off inside the freezer and pointed out lots of accumulated ice where the defrosted water is supposed to drip down. He says we’ll need a new heater of some sort to get the water dripping through again. Could I take a hairdryer to the back and defrost the water and then see what happens???
