Electrolux glass door problems

I have an Electrolux oven model EOD6335 just over 2 years old. The inner glass on the lower door has come loose due to the silicone pads losing adhesion. I am qouted £8.95 plus VAT for each of the four pads, that’s over £40 to stop the glass falling out. Quite outrageous! Any suggestions for a simpler, cheaper solution?

Hi

You can glue the glass in place with clear silicone sealant, it can cope with the heat and is about £4 a tube we’ve never had one come off again after using it and you’ll have loads left for other odd jobs!
