    I have a built in electrolux hob EHP6602K W42.

It was cleaned a few days ago and some water seems to have got inside the hole under two of the knobs. Each time these two hobs are switched on, the fuse box trips.

I notice there is a long black box directly underneath the four knobs – can this be taken apart and cleaned & dried out? Or can it be replaced, and if so, what is the part name/number.

    Thanks
    David

Hi: The best idea would be to leave it to dry out for a few days before trying it again, if you strip the panel out to get at the controls you could cause more problems. Alternatively take a look at the repairs@ feature on this web site to find an Engineer local to you.
