ParticipantHi all
Would love to get some help on my dishwasher issue. I’ve tried to diagnose it myself but I’ve reached the end of my knowledge/looking online…don’t want to damage any electricals at this point! Here’s everything that’s happened so far, really hope someone can help!
PNC no. 911 539 244 01
- 1 1/2 years old, integrated, came with new build property
- Uses the INLET HOSE,AQUA-CONTROL,L=1475 / aquastop for water feed in
- Had an issue about 4 weeks ago where the dishwasher didn’t drain, due to a minor filter blockage
- This did cause a minor flood out the front bottom of the machine
- Cleaned the blockage, dishwasher was back to normal for about 3 regular cycles over the span of about 10 days, everything fine!
- Suddenly got 4 beeps (plus 4 flashes on the END indicator) off the machine, and would not fill up
- Checked and took apart sink drainage, dishwasher drainage hose for blockage, all clear
- Removed aquacontrol inlet hose, checked the filter on the end with the red fitting – removed the small plastic filter inside, no debris to be found, seems clear
- Ran a test by adding about 4L of water to the bottom of the machine and ran a cycle, drained properly before beeping again
- Machine continues to make sound as if it’s trying to pull water in, but with nothing happening
- This does NOT stop when the door is opened – the machine continues to try to continue / draw water until I cut the power
- Pulled it out, took side panels off and bottom panel
- Disconnected the inlet hose from the orange plastic thing on the left side (but left it connected to the electric fitting inside the machine) – experimented with turning the machine on to see if the water would drain through the pipe and into a bucket, but no result – no flow.
- No blockages in the orange thing on the side
- Not sure if at this point the inlet needs replacing, or if the machine is deliberately stopping flow through the pipe?? As antiflood mechanism?
- At this point I’m not sure whether there’s still a blockage somewhere, or if there’s an electrical issue?
Appreciate all your replies.

Removed it and gave it a clean, although there was nothing on it and looked fairly clean. Does the black inlet part need to be removed from the white housing for it to be cleaned thoroughly or?

Moderatorthe pressure sw get its air pressure from an enclosed part of the sump that traps air
make sure this is clear and also the electrical caonnection to the sw is ok as this can cause same problem
