    Hi

I have an electrolux oven that is about 13 years old, works perfectly fine but while cleaning the glass on the lamp, due to the age the two clips holding the lamp housing have corroded and snapped so the lamp housing has come away. I have got the replacement part and wanted to ask if I refit the housing by pushing it through the oven from the inside towards the rear, or through from the back into the oven?

    Hi

The part number is 50204343003 and the model number is EOB966 X, and on a sticker on top it has 949710963.

    Thanks

    Hi

There are three different versions of that PNC no and two different lamp part numbers. Just after 949710963 there is a small gap and then two digits 0? This way we will know if you have the correct lamp unit to start with.

When I key the 949710963 number into the electrolux site, it adds 00 to the end, and gives me the part number? This is the sticker on the cooker.

    Thanks for the label 😀

I believe you have the correct lamp unit. Looking at the photo’s it’s fitted from inside the oven, the two clips are for retaining the glass lens cover.

    Re: Electrolux Oven Lamp Housing

Thanks for that. Tried for ages last night to get the part in, from the back, and this morning it came to me that maybe I go from the inside out. Will do that tonight and hopefuly I can get baking again!

Only been out of action since Saturday but I miss my oven!!

    Thank you once again.
