    Hello all,
This forum looks to be a wealth of knowledge and I’m hoping someone can help diagnose my problem and find out which part I need.
I have a single electric Electrolux oven which is about 8 years old. Last night it seemed ridiculously hot and was tripping the RCD. I switched the oven off at the wall isolator and left it for the night as the kids’ X-Box playing was getting disturbed….
So this morning I’ve switched the isolator back on, but not the oven itself and it’s warming up to the point its glowing orange around the fan! Last night I imagined it was a thermostat problem but I’m now thinking it is some control board as there is obviously voltage going through even when the oven is not switched on? So the isolator is off again.
Does this sound like an obvious issue?

    Thanks in advance.

Don’t do guesswork, need the model number.

With that model the main Power Board is the likely suspect. A relay stuck by the sound of it. 🙁

Thanks for taking the time to write, I had read that very same thing on another page. I will look in to a repair first and if that doesn’t work I’ll need to consider if it’s worth buying a new board or replacing the oven.
