Haven’t got a clue but we converted one to electrical operation once years ago. It’s not difficult; if I remember correctly you just fit the electrical heater element in place of the gas heater and add a thermostat. The cabinet and steel pipework was exactly the same.
Sorry that wasn’t much help to you was it 🙁 , but somebody may be interested 😆 .
Er, thanks Roly 😕 I now suspect there are bits missing so I may have to admit defeat and get another fridge. I’m told they had a flint ignitor which you spun round but mine does not seem to have one. There’s a gas valve and what looks like a thermocouple with a blue button on it. I suppose the button over-rides the thermocouple to allow gas through when lighting. You probably have to hold it in for so many seconds after the gas has lit.
