Went out to this the other day. It is the traditional Zanussi type with the pressure system in the sump where you remover the cover, clean out the pipes to release the blockage. I have done all that (3 times) done it with both pressure pipes removed, bottle brushed inside with the fairy liquid, (used boiling water from the kettle). After the 3rd go, realised I was going to be late for the rest of my 15 job day so I had to bail out. I have had greif with this type of job before, but not like this. Anybody any ideas? Maybe it would have worked the 4th time but the dishwasher continues to fill without clicking over to fill level 1 and locking the valve up. Arrrgh.
    Thanks….
    Rob.

    Hi Rob

Did you check/clean the horse-shoe shaped hose that loops underneath the pressure pots/syphons? (it drains the machine side of the chambers into the sump)

If there’s no blockage there then pressure switch or harness would be my bet 😉

Haven’t fitted a sump in 14 years……. Horseshoe hose, every time.
