    Hi,

I ordered a couple of parts via the Procorner site which are not needed due to the repair being cancelled.
I asked them via email if it was possible to return them minus a restocking fee, but they came back and said they have a strict no returns policy.
I am sure they used to have a 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} restocking fee, does anyone no when that changed? As a consumer you can return parts for free within 14 days.

With B2B transactions, there are no rules that apply in that regard, a very limited amount of consumer legislation applies, but in essence, with trade transactions, they can pretty much do what they please in the T&Cs. YOu essentially have no protections and certainly not anywhere even close to what you’d have as a consumer.

Even as a consumer buying spare parts there are limitations as spares are not “finished goods” therefore much of the legislation doesn’t and really can’t apply.

But if you buy on a trade account, you may as well regard it as you have no protection at all other than what’s agreed in the T&Cs/contract your account is operated on.

They told me the same about returns a few years back – faulty/broken items only. A few dishwasher motors have broken in transit and with photo evidence, they have sent another with no quibble.

They also guarantee parts for 12 months – they’ve sent me quite a few washer dryer blower fans free of charge where they had seized/became noisy within 12 months of purchase. Due to the poor reliability of this part, I always bought blower fans direct from Electrolux.
