Electrolux TR12418 Freezer starter Problem

I have an electrolux TR12418 fridge freezer. The fridge and freezer have their own seperate compressors. after defrosting, my freezer failed to start and blew the plug fuse. the starter on the freezer compressor has actually burned out. Is it worth replacing the starter or will the compressor motor be damaged? ❓

there is no way of knowing till you try replacing the part

i am not sure without looking parts up but if the compressors are the same you could swop the components from the good side
but

1 make sure they are compatible
2 there is a risk of blowing that starter too
