Electrolux washer-dryer (EWX127410W) squeaking sound

I’ve got an Electrolux washer-dryer (EWX127410W). The other day I noticed that when turning it manually (clothes tend to stick to the drum after spin), it makes a quiet whining/squeaking sound, but only when turned anti-clockwise. Turned clockwise it just makes the normal whirring noise. I’m pretty sure it didn’t do this before.

There’s no obvious resistance, and it’s not loud. It also only seems to be present after the dryer has run; i haven’t noticed it when the washing stage is over. It doesn’t noticeably change the noise when agitating or spinning.

Does this sound normal, or something to be concerned about? It’s only about six months old.

if its a brush motor it can make different sounds depending on the direction of rotation.
since its only 6 months old keep an eye on it and evaluate it when it gets nearer its 12 month guarantee. if it still worries you at this point ring them up and at least report it and see if they want to inspect it to check it over. if they don’t make a note of date, time and the person you talked to so if it does fail after the warranty you will be able to prove the fault was reported within the guarantee period
