Electrolux washer dryer EWX14440W ‘Ed4’

Machine is 18 months old and has been used very little.

After approx 5 min the machine pauses and the interlock opens.
‘Ed4’ is in memory.
What is this fault code and has anyone else had a similar problem with this machine?

Agree with Allsorts – deffo drier element with an earth fault. I had exactly the same fault last week with exactly the same machine. 😉

You can disconnect the dryer element and the wash side will then work fine. As a temporary or permanent measure.
