Ihave 18 month old e/lux washer dryer, mod EWD14091. Got bra wire stuck inside which made its way to the hose which joins the tub to the bottom of the condenser. I have removed the wire but now the machine will not wash. It will fill to wash level then starts to wash ok but after 3 or 4 mins starts to fill again taking in far too much water until the drain pump kicks in to prevent a flood. I’m sure the pressure system has not been disturbed and if I use the rinse and spin prog it works fine. What have I done?

you have probably pulled off or split one of the two pressure hoses that run up the side of the drum or cabinet next to the condensor worth a check.

Many apologies for delay in thanking you for the reply to my problem. It turned out to be self inflicted of course. I had removed the heater to see if I could get to the bra wire and on refitting put the heater lead that has a double connector back on the terminal but with the empty (no wire) side. So effectively had o/c heater. Interesting how a modern machine reacts though. In my day they would have just washed forever if heater gone. Thanks once again.
