Electrolux washing machine EWN14991W

Quite a recent machine this but seemingly out of guarantee. (PNC 914527706 00)

I wonder if there’s anyone who can throw some light on the problem with this machine?

I was called this washing machine today. It completes the cycle, down to the last 1 minute and then sticks, with the drain pump running and door locked, refusing to end the programme. A diagnostic test (without the manual as a guide – admittedly) appeared to show that everything was normal (it wouldn’t end the drain – but no errors generated). I have just looked at the manual which gives no apparent clues.

The last error code was E41 – but this is easily generated by starting the machine before closing the door and as the interlock appears to function normally, I have discounted this.

The display indicates the water level during the test cycle and I have taken this as a an indication that the analogue pressure sensor is functioning normally.

There are no obvious earth faults.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this before I condemn the board? Any help would be much appreciated.

check the wash heater for insulation, needs to be more than 10 Meg
