    Hi all,

Went look at a Electrolux WD EW1200I (yes intigrated) not spinning, Machine is only 18 months old but has only been used for last 5 months. once a week.
Managed to slide it out a bit and Checked all usual culprits, pressure switch tube, filter, Tacho. It washes ok but seems to stick in tumble mode instead of spinning as though its out of balance? Have to demolish half of kitchen before I can get it out completely. Suspect timer /module. but would like another opinion before I do go in with crow bar to the kitchen to extract machine.

Personally I’d suspect the module if everything else checks out OK.

If you pop up the PNC I’ll check the part number for you (3 versions).

    Dave.

Make sure that you check all the obvious first before going for a module/timer.

    Pressure switch sticking?
‘No spin’ feature selected or switch faulty (if there is one)?
    Faulty edge connector on module.

Good job we checked then as this version doesn’t have a module, just a timer/control unit.

Part number 1320558008 which supersedes to 1320558107 🙂

Thanks guys, will try these points again today after I’ve demolished kitchen. Why do kitchen fitters build kitchens round appliances?

This one reminds me of of a while ago I went to change an element on a built in oven, not an odious task except the fitters had put the oven in then pulled all the loose cable back to the cooker point 5 feet away, under tiles, and cut it off! In the end I had to chase out the wall to remove the cable just to get the oven out. Expensive element change!

It was the module /Timer. Anyone know a good kitchen fitter?

    Thanks for help.
