Electrolux/Zanussi ZEBf249W F/F Fridge warm

Hi, I have had this fridge freezer only 6 months. 3 months ago the freezer started to defrost and the fridge was warm. next day it was fine. Two days ago the fridge was warm but freezer ok. I called the retailer where i purchased it, they said they would send out an engineer on Tue 8/11/05. They said if no problem was found I would be charged £25 call out fee. Today Sun 6/11/05 I awoke to find the freezer defrosting, but later on in the day all was fine fridge and freezer. I am concerned that when the engineer calls all will be fine and I will be left with this problem till the guarantee runs out. Any advise would be appreciated.

I think any (or most) engineers will understand your predicament Davy. Intermittent faults come with our territory.

What I would suggest is you log the time scale, if feasable between the fault occuring to help when he/she arrives 🙂

I’ll wait till Tue and see what he says. Sounds to me something going wrong round back, constant clicking and weird noises.
