£4.75 and £3.75 for x5
We spend about £100 a week, with our 1 weekly order!
I can’t get over the anti electrue stance by some members on this site.we have no probs with their pricing structure you just need to commit yourselves with them and speak to the right person, after all their stockholding is second to none
You really do need to speak (flirt) with the right person. If you want your parts in-stock, and delivered in one piece, then it’s electrue. If you don’t like the returns policy, don’t order the wrong parts!
I think it’s a little funny that we argue about the lack of money in this trade. We want more money for the professional job that we do, but the suppliers have to work at rock-bottom levels?

I have never dealt with Electrue, and I don’t think I will be doing in the near future.
Ordered a Bosch 096805 motor end frame from my usual supplier, to save on delivery costs and time etc. It transpires that they have ordered the part from Electrue and been charged £52.00 for it, before they passed it on to me. 😯£36.43 inc vat on Bosch web site. 😥

Well am glad to see i get PMP 952 for £3.55 but one thing i dont like about Connect is when you order a genuine part and you get a pattern part turn up. 😥 For example if you order a bosch pump 144344 they send you a pump made by a company called Hanning which looks a bit cheap & cheerful to me. Worst still the invoice list a genuine part and a price to match. 👿

Most of their Bosch stuff never comes packaged as it does from BSH. Had some horseshoe oven elements ordered as gen, no wrapping, no part number label ,same with the pumps. Not sure how they get away with that one.

I’ve had similar issues with parts that should be supplied as a kit or pair, a recent one is Whirlpool upper basket supports which quite clearly come as a pair of left and right, recieved one right and then when re-ordered a left 😕
It seems the standard reply which the telesales/after sales service are told to say is “why would we remove one part…. blah blah blah”
I would also echo the above comments when ordering a genuine part, very often it will be supplied with no packaging apart from a Connect selophane wrap 😡
Frankly I’ve had enough of their stupid games and rip off tactics, how thick do they think we are ??? 🙄
Bollox, the gloves are off 😀

🙁 I’ve given up on electrue. I can get all the spares + finished goods from alternative suppliers who seem much more interested in / appreciative of, getting the orders. I suppose it might be different if I had agency work wiyh Electrue.

Good point Tom, I feel really sorry for those that also work for Connect or repaircare as they’re really caight between a rock and a hard place in many ways. However, they do still have the option to buy spares from other suppliers for jobs not passed by Connect.
Thankfully NWAR don’t deal with Connect for work or spares (or it seems that way from what you all have to say) and we get by with other suppliers.
It always struck me as a bit strange though to have to say to a customer that you could do the job there and then with a part in the van but you can’t (or shouldn’t) as it wasn’t bought from a certain supplier, be that Connect, the manufacturer or whoever. Just seems a bit daft really but it appears that’s what you’re supposed to do. 😕
As for all the other problems with Connect, well, vote with your feet and shop around.

JTM will not allow me to use van stock to do a first time repair as all spare have to come through them.

I went to one agency repair job for Connect and that was enough to put me off! I say I went to a job rather than I carried out a repair because they never got round to supplying the new oven door required for the job 😕

Ditto 🙁
We did 1 job for them at the start of April, invoiced them twice, and phoned them about 20 times to get paid 😡
Still nothing!

In a delivery this morning I received 3 pumps, PMP961. They are shown in the catalogue as complete pumps with the 2 way socket, to suit Hotpoint WMs etc. The ones that came are just the motor section, Plaset 50700, which has seperate spades. When I rang Connect about it the woman I spoke to was quite unpleasant and kept complaining that she couldn’t hear me. When I thought we had dealt with the matter I said that I have another part I would like to return when they collect the pumps. “Lets just deal with one thing at a time, shall we” was her reply . She did also arrange for collection of the other part but I have to pack it in another box with another returns number. By the time the call was over I wished I hadn’t bothered, perhaps that was the intention 😡
