    Hello, I have a Logik LFTC60W12 cooker
For some reason the oven element keeps blowing in a spectacular way, the whole thing’s covered in a fleece kind of effect
I usually have to replace it about every six months, the latest one only lasted a month!
Is this a fault with the cooker?
Or are the elements faulty (non genuine ones from various sources)
    Any ideas appreciated, thanks!

from what i can see your cooker is made by Vestel

this should be the correct gen element

i have found a lot of non gen elements are not good quality these days

also check the fan is free running as these elements need a steady flow of air otherwise they overheat and can fail

hi Dave, the fan spins round freely, so it might be the cheap elements at fault – I’ll try the one you linked to. Thank you!
