    Re: elica extractor fan

short answer take it to bits

a lot of cooker hoods have to come completely to bits to access components. first step is normally to remove the chimney You may even have to remove it from the wall just depends on design

a model number and a description of the fault you have may enable us to help more

    Re: elica extractor fan

The glide has to be completely removed from the wall you then access from the rear

    Re: elica extractor fan

thanks Dave for the fitting instructions, I already had the manual with these in, the fault was the two fan motors went down within 2 months of each other, they were replaced but still didn’t work, I called in an electrician he thought it was the capacitor which he couldn’t find, I have sourced a replacement capacitor and I am now awaiting his return hopefully to fix it. it does look like a removal of the unit a you suggest.
    thanks again
    George
