The washer will not pump out the water. I checked for obstructions, all ok. If I lower the drain hose, the water flows out fast. The pump makes a worbling noise. I hooked the pump up to mains power, still makes noise, but is I submerge the inlet in water, it pumps like crazy (without the noise).
I got another pump from the salvage yard. This one dry tested ok, but when installed, noisy like the other. I swapped the pump from my other broken washer (bad bearings, not pump). Dry test ok, when installed pumps a few seconds, then same noise for a couple seconds, then pumps again, repeat.
I noticed, on pump no 2, if I restrict the drain hose slightly, the pumps works fine. Is it possible that the pump is not getting full voltage? I also tested pump no 2 installed but wired directly to mains, then it worked normally. I find it hard to believe I have 3 bad pumps.
Any ideas?
