    I/lock blew Main board up so changed both still no displ;ay so changed display pcb and it lit up closed door pressed start door locks then the start light starts flashing and sits there even if you press start nothing else happens any advice appreciated.

    i changed 1 on a Zannussi last week and there was a note in box telling me to switch it on then off again at socket and it worked fine. might be worth a try.

    Switched it on and off loads checking stuff still the same.

    Oh dear…….I had BAD problems with one of these – only thanks to Alex on this site I managed to sort it out. (see my posting for the same machine on page 7 of the trade tech listings). Not good….. 🙁

    The interlock shorts and blows the main PCB. Mine was blown in six places. This in turn blows the display (fascia) PCB. Almost always. No marks will show on this board, it just fails. The start button LED flashes but the machine is inoperative.
    After I fitted the interlock, PCB and the display board, the machine would lock the door and……nothing. Ran diagnostics and the display flashed E31. (pressure switch fault). The analogic pressure switch was also blown!! 😯 😯
    So one very, very expensive repair. I believe that Electrolux are fully aware of this problem. 😉 What rubbish!!

    Thanks for reply matey going up all the time lucky its a b/in w/dryer if it was free standing prob would have went to the scrap heap in the sky!!

    just an update pressure switch also at fault unbelieveable!
