I went to a customer yesterday, one that was skinny as a rake last time I saw her. Got on with the repair and noticing that she had a big bump at the front – congratulated her on her pregnancy. How many will this be I asked? This one will be number 4 she stated. Wished her the best and left for the next job. Got home at night and the wife said ‘what did you say to that customer’? I explained, and was told that the customer had called the office and requested that the engineer was informed that she was not pregnant – just fat! 😳

i was at a job one day and was stuck for something to say i couldnt get much out of the customer who also was skinny with i big bump,
i asked her “when are you due?”
she said “i am not pregnant”.
still stuck for something to say i said” are you sure?”
that was 3 or 4 years ago i dont know why i have never been asked back.

I put my size ten in feet first last year. Started chatting to this mature guy in the kitchen while working on a tumble dryer. Heard a baby crying upstairs and not long afterwards his wife arrived in the kitchen with a sleepy looking child. Without thinking I asked how often the Grandparents looked after their granddaughter. All the time came her reply… We’re just late starters.
Didn’t think the time was right to enquire if they were planning a second!

went to a call with a new baby asking how old HE was i was told SHE was 6 months :oops:this was years ago i know make no comment whenever i go to houses.

Many moons ago went & delivered a Hoover 1036 clnr to a woman who was blind. So there i was having to guide her hands around the vac [careful nowt smutty], she seemed quite happy with it, anyroad up she gets & wanders over to the understairs cupboard, “I’ll just get you the old vac to take away” she says, with that there was a bang & clatter as she struggled to retrive said vac, so I pipes up “Do you want a light on?”DOH!! 😳 😳

A few years ago was ushered into customers house, through the hall into the living room making for the kitchen.
To my left I see this figure standing on the back of a settee, bald head,white shirt,trousers showing the builders bum.

Turning to the lady who ushered me in I said ” I see you’ve got your man cleaning the windows”, the lady says thats my sister.

Was at a call last week were I had been be four and as the guy let me in and I said the last time I called it was your your mother who let me in!. Thats not my mother thats my Wife 😳 😳
