Embraco Compressor TSD Starter – on a Miele Fridge

I’m in need to a new starter for a Miele Fridge K2319S/ Nr. 60/80937112 with an Embraco EMY20CLC compressor.

It’s an Embraco starter with a combined cut out/protector. I connot find one anywhere using the Embraco part no. I believe it’s one of a newer generation of TSD (Time starting device) which I understand electronically cuts the power to the start winding after starting..more energy efficient obviously.

Bosch/Neff etc have are using them as well and I’ve found a Bosch one but the numbers on the fron a different. The Bosch no is 00420461/00420759.

Will this Bosch part fit? It’s from a Bosch fridge that has the same compressor. If some refridgeration Guru could put me right I’d appreciate it..thanks.

Just for future reference/in case of future searches.

I fitted a BSH starter 00420461. The appliance has worked fine since. I only replaced the EPTC starter, I didn’t replace the capacitor which I understand is the advice.

Also, for reference, there is a Danfoss Eptc starter, 103N0050. I’m not sure if it would have fitted. Hopefully this thread will be of use to someone in the future.
