Emergency repair to door gasket?

Hi,

I have just received a new door gasket for the washing machine. However it has a manufacturing defect so that water leaks out through the door.

Can anyone suggest a way of doing a temporary repair since the replacement won’t arrive until next week!

would suggest you must have the wrong door gasket if you post the model number of the machine and part number of the door seal i am sure one of the many excellent people on this site will help you out.
you could always try giving the door glass a clean.
