KeymasterOkay, so I’ve been doing a little bit of work on this.
It actually would be rude not to.
The online application is back up and tested, available here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/abou … ation.html
After much battling with the stupid form, it’s sorted. I hope.
Now, here’s the bit I need help with.
What I could do with is some SEO stuff going on in the forums, we may as well make hay from the sun that shines for free. Meanwhile, I’m beavering away in the background building up some “stuff”, internet black magic as well as doing some bits and bobs with an SEO company I use to bump it up the rankings.
This will take time, it takes months to see any results. And, given that repairs@ has been offline for the best part of a year, it’s going to take a bit of effort to get the traffic levels back up where they should be.
But man, would I love to stick to some people online and give the work for free to the indies. I’m just pure evil that way. 😈
So, here’s what I need…
On topics where we’re saying “you better get a pro” or wherever you can see any excuse to do so, can you please insert a link (even if you edit a post) with text like…
washing machine repair in London
cooker repairs in Manchester
get approved fridge engineers here
And so on, if you want to ask me about the terms it’s absolutely fine or, check them.
What I don’t have time to do is look at every post and see what’s what, edit, insert, SEO and so on.
What I’m trying to do is use the authority that the domain has to promote the search page, thereby boosting the ranking in Google et all.
If you want to be really clever then, wherever possible, use the landing pages I made to boost SEO, as a link. You can find these pages by going to the homepage (the menus aren’t synch’d yet) and following this path…
Help & Advice>Appliance Servicing> *select landing page from sub-menu*
Then use that URL as it’s context correct.
It is this simple, the more of this we do, the higher up the ranks those pages climb.
The higher they climb, the more I modify them.
The more I link and modify, the higher they go.
I’ve got the SEO geeks doing an analysis of it as well as running my own but, I can tell you this, even what I’ve done so far has driven these pages up the ranks and they are now ranking on Google, Bing etc.
I’m just greedy, I want more work to go to the troops.

Help & Advice>Appliance Servicing> *select landing page from sub-menu*
Was stumped by this at first then realised it should be ‘Help & Advice> BUYING ADVICE> Appliance Service’ 🙂

Might have got lost but this is it.
‘Hotpoint washing machine repairs’ totally superflous to the post TBH but every little helps. 😀
There are several bots perusing it just now. 8)

Ahh, I see, you want the text to be inserted as a hyperlink, I have edited the post, is that what you want ❓

Yup, that’s the business.
I must teach you all about H1 headers, emphasis and stuff sometime.
