engineers please help..Hoover HDC884X oven thermostat switch

Hi, Just set about replacing the thermostat switch to main (bottom) oven on Hoover HDC884x….took pics of wiring on back of switch, removed and replaced new switch… 😯 😯 no pic on phone!!!
not sure which of the wires go where, can you help?

one white wire and one red, one white joined together, lugs on switch No1 and No2…which goes where..thank you
ps the beer is on me if we can sort it

Hi, unfortunately Bryan could not assist any further, are there any engineers out there that could help, got pics of switch/wires, got wiring scheme that Bryan emailed to me, if that helps….I can’t read it….willing to pay for info

The only way to do it normally with info like that is to track the wiring back and trace it our as per the schematic diagram component by component, terminal by terminal, there’s no quick fix.

It is highly improbable that anyone would be able to figure it out any other way as I looked at that yesterday and it’s not the best wiring diagram for sure.

Hi

The wiring diagram and schematics have been supplied with comes directly from Hoover /Candy.

You need to follow the wiring to the different component parts and trace from there.

The information that you have is more than the majority of engineers have. If you can’t read or follow them then you will need to get an engineer to follow the diagrams.
