ParticipantReported on Radio 5 by bod from Top Gear – Each England flag flying from your car or van wastes 2 horsepower! By the end of Euro 2004, 20 million extra litres of fuel will have been consumed, netting Mr Brown some £17,000,000!!!!
I think he gets enough already………….

ParticipantPassing thought – 2bhp = 2.98 kwatt! Obviously the flags have got to go!

NEW MOTORING LAW
In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous
drivers, it’s now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average I.Q. or driving ability to display a warning flag, comprising of a red cross on a white background, attached to the top of at least one door of their vehicle. For drivers of exceptionally low mental ability, additional flags will be required.
The above has been sent to me about 4 times today.

P45.Nearly 3 kwatt’s to two horses, surely that’s illegal 😯
The last time a horse/kwatt comparison was carried out, any comparison was denied by kwatt’s partner 😆

True, I don’t know why I thought England flags were football specific 😕
Probably due the sudden mass of them recently 😉

came across this thread by chance… thought I would resurrect it as there has been a total absence of England flags on cars and vans this time around… around my way at least, cannot recall seeing any at all in fact.
