We have an English Electric fridge. model number EE53L. The door is dropping and my husband thinks that the bottom door hinge bearing socket has crumbled and needs replacing. Please can you advise if these parts are available (not sure of the correct technical term, sorry).

The parts are still available, the bottom door hinge bearing socket is called a “Hinge Bush” there are two of them in total (white nylon bush)as the one on the top hinge is the same as the bottom. The part number is 261008.
The bottom hinge is part no: 2600381. Both available by either phoning Hotpoint spares dept on 08709 077 077 or emailing these details to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
